The external layout and building configuration considers the requirements of sports fully, maximising the range of activities within the site with a mixture of grass pitches and hard courts that are in close proximity to changing facilities and sport hall and ensure the ease of use by the community out of hours. The grass pitches are laid to falls to meet Sport England requirements and will be naturally drained. The sports provision that the school will be able to provide includes a Multi Use Games Area (MUGA) marked for 4 tennis, 4 netball and 4 basketball courts.

Grass pitches are provided over two terraced areas to the north and south, providing a variety of pitch layouts and seasonal sports.
